Beer & Dice

Session 25

DUNGEON MASTER: [Game starts here.]

The room slowly grows quiet but for the sound of the heroes’ laboured breathing.
SOLAR CE’NEA: Solar Says to his companions, “Is everyone alright”?
JOHAN D’ALMENTA: Johan wipes the sweat and dust from the debris from his face as he staggers to his feet once again. “Yeah I’m still standing however there were a few moments I was a goner.”
SOLAR CE’NEA: I am so glad we still had one of those syphins and I had learnt that flaming sphere spell.

I suggest we look around, I assume the Splatter man is gone but perhapes if there are items in this area we should take them to the Blue lady and get her to check the Haunt or ghost is truely gone

Session 24

DUNGEON MASTER: [Game starts here.]
DUNGEON MASTER: The party has arrived back from the prison, wet and dired.
SOLAR CE’NEA: SOlar goes back to Kendras name to do a knowledge History check about Kendras name being on her wall and the possible conection to the Splatter man.
SOLAR CE’NEA: 1d20+11=27
DUNGEON MASTER: This bit of blood work appears identical to the Splatter Man’s gory messages. Other than the obvious (and disturbing) connection, there is no particular reason to see this as an immediate threat to Kendra.

Session 23

DUNGEON MASTER: [You previously sold: six suits of masterwork chainmail andsix suits of masterwork studded leather armor, four masterwork longswords, four masterwork heavy maces, two masterwork heavy crossbows, a pouch containing a dozen masterwork shurikens, a masterwork silver war razor,]
DUNGEON MASTER: It is now approximately 2pm. The party can visit any of the other locations on the Ravengro map if they like. What do the intrepid heroes do?
DUNGEON MASTER: Listening to the heroes banter about their next purchases, Jominda puts in some advice: “You might want to check in with that whiney schoolteacher up the street… Alendru Ghoroven his name is, at the Unfurling Scroll.”
JOHAN D’ALMENTA: “We might just do that. Thank you for the suggestion.” Johan gives Jominda a curt smile before asking Solar, “Sounds like a good idea to me.”

Session 22

The party currently stands in the oubilette. Several iron doors line the walls of this large, empty room. In
the middle of the room, a hinged ten-foot-square metal grating lies over a dark pit in the floor. A thick rope has been tied to the grating and dangles into the pit below.
JOHAN D’ALMENTA: “I don’t know what evil lies at the depth of that pit but I won’t be able to stop wondering what is down there if we leave now without checking what is in it.”
SOLAR CE’NEA: I agree, my friend. I think we should go down perhaps we tie our own rope and go down?

Session 21

JOHAN D’ALMENTA: “Well this place is a prision so it figures we might have problems accessing certain parts.” Johan scratches his head as he thinks.
SOLAR CE’NEA: perhaps ther is a guards skeleton somewhere with all the keys
JOHAN D’ALMENTA: While the party stands there pondering the situation, Mesodias will place the hammer back into his belt strap and arm himself with his trusty greatsword.
DUNGEON MASTER: The air of the dungeon is still and damp. Somewhere in the distance the sound of water dripping can be heard.
SOLAR CE’NEA: Perhaps we should try the door behind us?
JOHAN D’ALMENTA: Johan nods silently as he walks to open the door situated on the opposite side of the hallway.

Session 20

DUNGEON MASTER: The party stands beside the pool watching the slimy remnants of the ectoplasmic creatures slip slowly back into the water. Bits of human bone protrude from the masses of goop.
JOHAN D’ALMENTA: “If there’s anything of interest in the pool we are going to have to fish it out with a pool or something other than my hand.”
SOLAR CE’NEA: I am not sure if it is worth the effort
SOLAR CE’NEA: they were ghosts, unless soemthing came here and they killed them they is unlikey something there.

Session 19

SOLAR CE’NEA: Dear Kendra I think we have finished here. We should make our way to the Prison and continue on with our investigations there, but first if you would let us, I would like to escort you home to make sure nothing happens to you at this very strange time with all the unusal events happening at the moment
DUNGEON MASTER: “I think that would be well,” agrees Kendra at length. “I cannot believe that my father was cavorting in a place so… dangrous!” Her face is somewhat pale from the morning’s exertions.

Session 18

DUNGEON MASTER: Johan hears a rustling and a pitter pat in the southern chamber past the doors.
JOHAN D’ALMENTA: Johan spins around and looks upwards to the crypt steps. “Over there! We have company.”
DUNGEON MASTER: A sqeaking noise echoes down the stairs
SOLAR CE’NEA: Solar readies his bow and asks Kendra to keep him between her and the noise
JOHAN D’ALMENTA: “You two move away from the hallway and get behind us, now.”
JOHAN D’ALMENTA: Johan indicates this to Kendra and Solar.
DUNGEON MASTER: The noise grows louder—a cacophony of chitinous squeaks and a rustling like autum leaves scraping across the floor.

Session 17

SOLAR CE’NEA: Solar sits with Kendra until she is asleep, once she is comfortably resting Solar leaves her room and positions himself back downstairs with his gear (morning star out) in guard position.
DUNGEON MASTER: Kendra does not fall asleep quickly—her eyelids flutter closed and her breathing gradually evens out after about an hour.
JOHAN D’ALMENTA: Johan finishes the deed of burying the tainted corpses of the villagers that had disturbed the night. He walks back inside exhausted, placing the shovel against the wall not concerned with leaving a muddied trail in the hallway.
DUNGEON MASTER: [The party earned 200 xp each for the previous encounter.]

Session 16

DUNGEON MASTER: Sheriff Benjan pauses a moment while looks at the bound form of Gibs where he sits on the floor. “He did, did he?” he replies to Johan. “Well, well…” he turns and rounds on Solar, “right, let’s see what you got.”

“You lot,” Benjan says, nodding to his three deputies, “stay here with him—” (here he points at Johan), “—and Mr. Hephenus.” With that he nods at Solar to lead on.
SOLAR CE’NEA: Solar takes the sherriff to where the extra war razor and bloody rags are hidden and explains that: I have found these hidden here and have not moved them, I strongly believe these are the tools used to disect the animals smeared all around the statue.
DUNGEON MASTER: Benjan takes the items in hand and turns them over thoughtfully. “Well, that’s that then. We’ll get Gibs locked away and talk to him there. He… didn’t give you too much trouble, did he?”
